Ox Creek

Ox Creek is a three-story home on an unfinished basement. Originally built in 1977, this home had 1,710 square feet. Mountain Sound Builders remodeled the home, demoing the entire interior and exterior to create an efficient new floor plan and an additional 680 remodel square footage. This 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home features a new kitchen addition with a carport underneath, as well as a new mudroom, laundry, and powder room. For the exterior, the homeowners enjoy their new covered front porch with flagstone walkways surrounded by conservation land.

Mountain Sound Builders used green building techniques, including:

• closed cell foam insulation
• LED/Energy Star light fixtures

We believe quality wood and thoughtful design can really make a home stand out. We used fir interior and exterior doors, cypress lap siding and tongue & groove under the front covered porch and carpot, and custom built cabinetry featuring tigerwood maple. Oaken flooring was woven into the existing flooring to retain the original charm.
